My step-father just died. It hurtz but I dont know if I want to go to his funeral. This would be the first funeral i've ever been to. I want to go but then I really don't. I'm afraid to go but I don't know what i'm afraid of. I'm still deciding if i'll go or not but right now i'll most likely be goin and i'll just have to be afraid of whatever it is i'm afraid of. What do you think?

well, i went to my first wake when i was a junior in high school and it was open casket, it was so hard but it kind of helped me mature to life in a way i think you should go
That sounds really hard, I can't even imagine. I wish you the best, and even though it might be hard and you're scared, you should go. Funerals are for the family to have a form of closure. As difficult as good byes are, they are a necessity to keep going.
I think that you have a lot going on in your life. Funerals are scary. I myself am afraid of dead things after going to funerals. But if you love the person you are going to their funeral then it shouldnt be as scary. You should go for closer though. Everyone needs closer.
